Who we are
Thrive Thrace is a non-profit initiative based in Thrace, Greece, created by people from culture, technology, and community action. We work to empower young people, strengthen local communities, and keep living heritage alive—through practical skills, creative participation, and meaningful partnerships.
We believe that when young people have opportunities, when communities collaborate, and when culture remains active and shared, places can thrive again. That's why we design initiatives and actions that connect generations, build real-world skills, and create a stronger sense of belonging.
Our work focuses on Youth & Skills, Culture & Heritage, Digital Safety, and Community & Partnerships.
Why we exist
Many places face similar challenges: fewer young families, limited opportunities, and traditions that slowly fade. We exist to help reverse that trend—by creating pathways for participation, learning, and community life.
Our goal is simple: to bring more "life" back to our region—through opportunities, collaboration, and initiatives that make people want to stay, return, or move here.

We envision Thrace as a place where young people can grow with confidence, where families feel supported, and where culture remains a living part of everyday life.

Our mission
To empower young people and communities in Thrace by:
- building skills and opportunities through education and participation,
- keeping local culture and heritage alive through music and creative practice,
- promoting healthy tech habits and digital resilience (scams, phishing, AI),
- working hand-in-hand with local partners to deliver real community impact.

Thrive Thrace was founded by a small team combining experience in culture, technology, and community work.
Ioannis Petridis
Composer and music creator with 30+ years of experience, international studies, and major cultural projects.
Manolis Tsiamitas
Senior analyst with 18+ years of experience in software design and development, team management, and EU programme work.
Marios Rafael Bikos
Engineer and photographer with 10+ years of experience in community action, communication, and organising initiatives.
We collaborate with volunteers, educators, and local partners who share our mission.
