S.I.L.K. – Soufli Choir by Thrive Thrace

Singing In the Language of Kindness

S.I.L.K. – Soufli Choir is a community-based vocal ensemble from Soufli, the historic “silk town” of Northern Greece. Hosted by the non-profit organization Thrive Thrace, the choir brings together people of different ages and backgrounds who share a love for music and a desire to contribute to their local community.

Guided by its motto “Singing In the Language of Kindness”, S.I.L.K. focuses on kindness, inclusion and intercultural dialogue. Its repertoire blends Greek and European choral music, traditional songs from Thrace, and contemporary arrangements, weaving together Soufli’s local identity with a broader European perspective.

Through concerts, collaborations, participation in festivals and educational activities, S.I.L.K. – Soufli Choir by Thrive Thrace aims to become a warm artistic voice of the region – a living example of how music can connect people and stories, just as silk threads are woven into beautiful fabrics.
